The Ritchie Thrifty King CT2-2000 is a double sided livestock waterer featuring energy efficiency or energy free use for a fence line or a stand-alone application. Waters between 10-100 beef cattle. Drink height 19".

The Thrifty King series is known for their fully insulated casing allowing them to be used energy free (under the correct conditions- see below) or incredibly energy efficient with the supplemental heat system. The removable drain plug and sloped bottom allow for easy cleaning and the water seal grooves create a seal in the winter without gaskets.

ENERGY FREE REQUIREMENTS

Thrifty King fountains are intended to be energy-free; however, a number of factors must be met for this to be the case:

• There must be at least 10 animals that have the Thrifty King fountain as their only source of water.
• There must be a good seal against wind between the concrete platform and base of the unit.
• The water seal grooves between the base, and top of the unit, and between the top of the unit and the valve cover must be filled with liquid.
• The supply water temperature must be at least 42o F. (This may be an issue for rural or municipal water supplies.)
